Hello all, I am posting on here asking about any information regarding my great grandfather Daniel Ebenezer.
DOB: 27th August 1912
DOD: 4th June 1950
Place of birth: Ponterwyd, Cardiganshire, Wales
From what my late grandmother told me he passed away on a motorcycle accident in Ponterwyd area, my grandmother didn't have any images of him in the house or any of the family didn't have an image of him either.
At the moment I am looking for any information from anyone or any images that people may have for him. I also am having trouble finding his father as know one knew who his dad was.
I have a name that may be correct but it may not be.
Mother (Place of birth: Lledrod, Cardiganshire, Wales)
Name: Catherine Ebenezer
DOB:1890
DOD: 28th November 1978
Father (Place of birth: Bronwenllwyd, Swyddffynnon, Cardiganshire, Wales)
Name: John Jones
DOB:1864
DOD: Unknown
Any help is appreciated

Motor Cycle Fatality
A collision between three motor cycles at Villsynydd Pontypridd on Saturday, resulted in William James Sparkes, miner of Geli Rhondda and his father John Sparkes being killed. Another man Daniel Ebenezer sustained serious injuries.

Father (Place of birth: Bronwenllwyd, Swyddffynnon, Cardiganshire, Wales)
Name: John Jones
DOB:1864
DOD: Unknown
This is Catherine Ebenezer's employer in 1911. I think it is more likely that the father of Daniel, would be someone closer in age to Catherine. There were other servants working for John Jones at the right time.

A copy of the death certificate will show a cause of death and who was present at the time.
Cardiganshire North 1950 2nd quarter Vol 8A page 215
He was 37 at the time.
1939 he was a stone and quarry labourer.
Always verify.

There is an article in the Welsh Gazette 8 June 1950 that mentions Daniel Ebenezer.
It is in Welsh, a language I cannot speak so I'm not sure what it is about.

Could be but every person I have spoke to said he was killed on a motorcycle not injured

My grandmother said that Daniel’s mother was the one that told here it could have been John jones, Daniel and his brother were bought up with another man looking after them.
