Georgina (Gina) was born on 2nd August 1905 in York, Yorkshire, England. I am almost sure that she died on 31st May 1980 in Sydney having moved from England after 1965.
I have found electoral rolls for Gina and her daughter, A, in 1977 and 1980 living in Sydney. I do not know if A is still alive. Gina was a nurse who had married Percy William Dryden. Percy died in 1964.
Any additional information about Gina and family will be much appreciated.

That is the record I found on Ancestry which led me to believe that is our Gina. I am hoping that we'll find death, burial, probate records too and information about daughter A, unless she is still alive.

Our Gina's parents were Alexander Park Bruce and Mary Kate (Katherine) Wright, so this confirms we have the correct information re Gina's death.
I wonder if only relatives can order copies of NSW death certificates from 1980 ?

You can go on and check the information on ordering have you checked trove newspapers
To see if there is any mention of the family

I haven't used Trove newspapers before. I started looking, but haven't found any references to Gina or family members yet.
I will see if my cousin who is directly related to Gina wants to order the death certificate.

From the Ryerson index I found
ALEXANDRA PETERS probate notice was 30th April 2014. This notice was published in the NSW Probate Index on 6th May 2014 and 25th June 2014.
Alexandra Peters née Dryden born 29th March 1940 in Hertfordshire, England was Gina's daughter who was living with Gina in Alexandria, NSW in 1977 and Panania, NSW in 1980.
Now we hope to find relatives of Alexandra in 2014.
We are making progress.

A Funeral/Cremation notice for Georgina Dryden was published on 3rd June 1980 in the Sydney Morning Herald.
Can somebody find the details of the notice as I haven't yet.

Trove has very few newspapers after 1954.

Thank you Debra. I was able to read the notice, but no specific "relatives and friends of the late GEORGINA MURRAY DRYDEN" were mentioned. Yes. The image I attached is very small. It's the best I can do.

Just found entry on Australian Cemeteries index for Alexandra which indicates that she was cremated at Woronora and "ashes taken"

Strangely, a person mentioned in the report has the same forenames as Alexandra's son from a 1965 birth record on FreeBMD index (Brett R Peters), but his last name is different. Surely it's the same man.
I don't know if I can give his name as he is probably still alive.

Alexandra's mother, Georgina, also had her ashes scattered at Woronora.

I had a look at the Australian Archives site and it seems that the Peters family and Gina arrived in Australia on 29.1.1966 on the Fairsea. listed as A, BR and HJ Peters.
If you play around with the Passenger listings you will find the full given names, as the son could still be living I will not list them, except to say that the given names so not match those in the probate records.

I have been thinking about the fellow in the probate records. He could be a relation to Alexandra, a descendant of her son, a grandson or even great grandson of Alexandra, and the given name has passed down the generations. How to prove that is another question,

Agreed. My theory about it being Alexandra's son doesn't look so solid now, but he could be a relative as B**** isn't a common forename.
