Hi,
I've another family in Birkenhead I need to find more information on (my grandad used to say that my grandmother was related to half of Birkenhead!!).
I'm looking for Henry Gaynor (born abt 1859/60 in Birkenhead) and his wife Elizabeth Jane Gaynor (born 1861 also in Birkenhead) on the 1891 Census.
I've found them on the 1901 Census, but don't have access to the 1891 Census - would really appreciate any help.
Thanks again for all the information I've received so far - it's really made a great difference to my research.

Iria,
Thanks so much for your quick response - yes this does help so much. I have so many families that at some point lived on Oliver Street - it's amazing.
Thanks again,

Hello Lynne
This is an old post so I guess this is a long shot. I have just started doing my family background research. Robert Henry Gaynor and Elizabeth Jane (Mann) are my great-grand parents, so I most interested to hear from you and your relationship within this family. I am sure that you would be able to give me a great start on my research. Please contact me if you get this message. Thanks.

It was a long shot, I haven't been on here for a long time.
My siste and I are coming to England to do some family history next month so i was checking some addresses.
My Elizabeth Jane Mann's younger half brother Alfred Robert Mann is my great grandfather. I have information on the family going back to the early 1700's in Faversham, Kent. My grandfather's mother died when he was very young and for a while he lived with your great grnadparents and I vaguely remember meeting Gladys a couple of times, possibly some others.
I'm happy to let you have any information you need, just not sure how to go about it.
Thanks

Hello Lynne
Thank you very much for replying. My grandmother was Mabel Lilian, Gladys's younger sister. I also met Gladys but I was very young at the time. I guess we are distant cousins then, through the Mann family. I would like to get in touch more directly (email) but I am reluctant to leave my email address on an open forum. There doesn't seem to be a "contact member" facility on this forum either. Any ideas?
Regards
Brian
