Hi Matt,
I can't see any likely baptisms for Thomas. However, there is a baptism for Mary Hearn at Netheravon on 12 Feb 1660, father Nathanell. Although this place is in Wiltshire it is only about 18 miles distant from the area you have been looking at. Worth following up on I'd say.

Hi Alf,
As you cannot find any other records that will help, I think you need to order a copy of the death certificate. You will at least get the name of the informant and , if you are lucky and it is his wife, you will have solved your problem.

Hi Wendy,
I did a very specific search on Ancestry, all census for a Martha born in Quinton between 1790 and 1800 and only got the one hit.

Hi NG,
No firm information but if you look at the 1861 census for Buxton, Derbyshire in the household of William & Alice Spencer you will find a visitor, Martha Spencer, born in Quinton c1793. Ancestry has transcribed her as Martha Hance. Looking at the Quinton records for baptisms 1790 -1780 only one baptism for Martha comes up, your Martha Jeffs. As the baptism record does not record her DOB the Buxton one could be her. I would say certainly worth exploring further.

Tony.
There is a burial in [what is now] Newham (merged East Ham & West Ham):
Elizabeth Collier, 21 Oct 1878.
From Deceased Online. I don't have access to the details.

Hi Ella,
There is a Hugh Cructcher baptised at Swallowfield (All Saints), son of Marke Crutcher, 1 Jan 1670/1 . This from an index not the image.
