Hello,
Five years on... I am also descended from Elizabeth Catchpole who married Stephen Baxter in 1808 in Fressingfield. From reading the replies she had two children before marrying Stephen, Sarah in 1800 and Ann in 1805. She then had two sons, Joseph 1808 and John in 1814. Ann married Charles Shepherd in 1826 at Fressingfield, her youngest child was Jane Shepherd who married Henry Vincent. Ann's second husband was Charles Harper.
Did you ever find a birth for Elizabeth Catchpole in 1762/3 in Athelington or anywhere?

I have
 Hannah b 1838 married Richard Bray d 1911. Had 17 children!!
Jane b 1840 d 1921. Didn't marry, left estate to Richard Watts, son of George
John Thomas b 1843 d 1895
George b 1844 d 1887
Joseph b 1846 d 1887
James b 1848 d 1902
Edward b 1849 married to Patience Barton 1876
Elizabeth Sarah b 1851 d 1855
Charles b 1853 married Catherine Wheatley 1881 Newcastle d 1915 Bishop Monkton, Ripon
Henry b 1856 d 1919 married to Harriet Hammarton

I have a copy of John Watts' b 1816 will somewhere, I could have a look for it. He left his money to his unmarried daughter, Jane. Apart from Charles, the rest of the siblings seem to have stayed in the Birmingham area.
Did you ever get anywhere with finding traveller links to Honor Watts nee Cooper? All I have on her is her birth in Walsall in 1813. I've got John Watts' parents as Thomas Watts married to Sarah Hunt in 1808 and coming from Exhall.
Please correct and add to any of this.

Yes,
I eventually worked out that Charles Watts died in 1915 near Ripon, calling himself Charles Harrison Watts. I do have some other information about his siblings, very happy to share it with you.

I think that the Bernard Doran b Whitehaven 1831 is a younger brother of my direct ancestor Eliza Doran b 1822 Isle of Man d 1866 Whitehaven. I have found Eliza on 1841 on Newhouses living with Bernard and other brothers and her mother Margaret. Does anyone know when her father Patrick Doran died?

Hello
I got as far as you did in looking up Converys. I am from Sarah's older brother, John who died in Whitehaven in 1878.
There is a photo of Eliza and her family on ancestry, did you put that on or is that another descendent?

Hello
Which one of Sarah's children are you descended from? I have had  e mail contact with people from this line. How far back have you got looking for Converys?

Do you know how James Convery is a nephew to this family? I am linked to a Convery/Connery family living on Newhouses.
