« on: Monday 14 June 10 12:36 BST (UK)  »
Hi , can anyone please help . I am looking for info on family members from the Gairloch area that were in World War 1 . William MacRobbie has all kinds of information on the Gairloch area and was a great help to me with my family tree . William and Ann Roots are intending to compile a book about local men and women in WW1 , they have already compiled a book on WW2 . If anyone has info I could pass on to William MacRobbie as he was really really helpful to me . Many thanks Rhona

Hi Gadget and thank you very much for the info . You really know your stuff . I haven't been able to fine anything out about the MacDonald name but you are correct about it not being on the Gunn side . I also think MacDonald is taken from who got Johan pregnant , Isabella`s dad . I`d love to be able to find the info I need as easy as you make it look . Once again thanks for the info and ideas . Many thanks Rhona
