Hi Peter. We have the baptism entry for Thomas in Davenham. The entry gives his parent's & Grandparents names.

Hi list. My name is Alan Fairhurst from Cheshire. I'm trying to find info on John David JONES who was born in 1878 in Monk's Coppenhall, (now Crewe), Cheshire. He left Crewe about 1900 and I believe that it is my ancestor that I have found in the 1901 census for Brighton, living at 19 Chester Terrace in the sub-dist. of Shoreham. In 1902 he was working in the Loco works at Eastleigh.
My father always insisted that John David was buried somewhere in South Wraxhall, date unknown. If anyone comes across any info I would very much appreciate hearing about it.

Hi Peter. Yes indeed. My brick wall at the moment is Thomas FAIRHURST born abt. 1756 place unknoqwn. He died in Middlewich, Cheshire, Feb. 1837 and was buried at St. Michaels, Middlewich.
I'm trying to find a birth/Baptism for him. His Father was Richard FAIRHURST born about 1730 and died in 1804 in Ashton. Thomas's mother's name was Margaret, maiden name unknown at present.

Hi. my name is Alan Fairhurst and although I joined a while back I have been so busy I have had no chance to post a message. In addition to my research into my family history I also run a cat sanctuary. As a member of a canine training group, I often travel around taking photos of the dogs display team. So it is a very full life.
I am researching various names - Fairhurst in Cheshire and Lancs; Hall in Crewe and Derby; Butterworth in Crewe and Rochdale & Jones in Crewe.
