London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / Re: Dabbs in Bethnal Green
« on: Sunday 15 October 06 22:13 BST (UK)  »
Hi Thank you both for the information.
As you can tell its ages since I last did any family research. Sometimes when you have reached too many dead ends you need a break and then when you start again you find some new answers, so thank you again. The information regarding the family in South Street is definately correct and the information regarding the family in Nichol Sreet is intriging. I'm going to have to search further .
Thanks Deb

Hi would anyone be able to look up the 1841census for me please. I am trying to trace my ancestor Joseph Dabbs. He was born c1829 and from his marriage certificate in 1850 I know that his father was Richard who was employed as a silk weaver. Look forward to hearing from anyone out there.
Thanks Deb

London & Middlesex Completed Lookup Requests / White family

Hi
I'm attempting to trace my fathers family which is a daunting task given that White is a fairly common name. I've got as far back as the 1861 census and wonder whether there is any thing to be seen on the 1851 or 1841 census's. they were a family who were involved in the pianoforte industry and in 1861 Richard White (born in Kentish Town, 1822) and his wife Elizabeth (nee Welch, born in Mile End , 1827) were residing at 8 Anglers Gardens Finsbury. Their oldest child residing with them was Elizabeth A (1849). I would be very grateful if you were  able to find any further information.
Thanks Deb.

Would it be possible to look up James Morris  in the 1861/ 1851 census. He would have been born in 'approximately' 1840.
Thank you

Deb
