Clackmannanshire / Denholms In Alva
« on: Friday 24 April 09 19:59 BST (UK)  »
Anyone researching this surname in Alva please let me know - trying to find ultimately where the denholms that ended up in Alva circa 1815-1820 were from......

I believe there may still be denholms there that are related to my partner - his branch left in 1908 for Canada, but have found death records into the 1940's for relatives of his family....

Thanks

Hey all

I an underemployed guy in Canada, whose ancestry includes research in North America and the British Isles....  I've been doing work on my own tree since 1983 (before the internet).  I have the time to help people with their research to get them started, or for friends you may have that you'd like to give a gift to.  My web site is http://www. madnesspersonified .com  (spaces added....   ) and there is a bit of info there....   I can help you out for an hour if you'd like....  I do enjoy the scavenger hunts on here, and enjoy helping out the community here, but the bills have to be paid too  ;-)

Anyways........  Just thought I'd put that out there....  My email is on the site, and the site does accept paypal :-)
