Durham Lookup Requests / Re: Ann Cherry, Hartlepool

thanks for all of this, I think the deleted post if actually really useful.  My search was for my friend Diane of Hartlepool who has now registered so she will take this forward.

That's interesting, I thought it must be me.  I assumed they would have been married in the area of the children's births but will check this again.  Thanks for trying, I am sure I could get hold of one of the children's birth certificates, naming her, hopefully will clarify either spelling of the name or whether I am off track completely and it was something else.   thanks again,

From family, I thought it might be French as it was pronounced Burgoyn apparently.  I'll check out that I have the spelling right and re post to be sure.
thanks for all of this  :)

Pre 1911 and no, none living.   I have census information from the 1901 for the family but can't get past Ann Burgon and where she was from before she became Cherry.
regards

Would anyone be able to help me find any information about the Cherry family, Hartlepool, 1900's, I think the previous name of Anne Cherry was Burgon.  Family included Henry, Jessie, Flora, Agnes but I would really like to know where Ann Burgon was born if anyone knows, I think Tom Cherry was born in Hull.
Thanks  :)

Aberdeenshire Lookup Requests / Gibbons 1942
« on: Tuesday 14 September 10 20:19 BST (UK)  »
My father and his twin, Arthur and Alan were born 1942 in Aberdeen, father Arthur Gibbons but not on birth certificate and not married to their mother, Isabella.  I am guessing he was around 18-20 as she was 17 at the time.  I wonder if you have any ideas how to search, he is not on any birth census in Scotlands people, could have been married in 1946 *not sure, there is an Arthur listed in Aberdeen but unsure if him.  He could have been born in Jersey.

Many thanks

I wonder if anyone knows of where I might get the employee information for the Rotherwas Munitions Factory in Hereford, 1940's?  Or the Red & White Bus Services (or both?) :)

Yes I noticed that, so that might explain it.  I hope it is him but is certainly nearer than I have got before and have obviously now found some great sites in addition to those already searched (and paid for!)  You've been a great help  :)
