Its a long time since I have been on this site and just been reading through these recent posts and thought I would ask you great researchers if anyone has found a death for FRANCIS MAXWELL ALLAN. I have two different dates and places but cannot prove either of them

I am trying to find the birth of Sarah Ann Strike and it has proved very difficult so far. On my Grandfathers birth registration (in New Zealand} it says that Sarah was born in The Cape of Good Hope but so far every effort to prove that has failed. Sarah was supposedly born in 1848

We are researching the Allans from Glasgow, descended from Alexander  who apparently wasn't born in New Zealand, died in 1911 aged 62.
Have also found a Margaret & a Mary, who were probably his sisters.
Our Alexander married in Nz,1875.
Can someone please help?
Wallace Allan.
I may be able to help but I am trying to see which Alexander Allan you are asking about
