Technical Help / No Sound In Chat Room
« on: Thursday 09 September 21 09:55 BST (UK)  »
Anybody use the chatroom ?.....Since the demise of Adobe Flash Player, I have had no sound when in the room....I know a lot of people find it annoying, and turn it off, but I found it jolly useful, as I use the room in the early hours, and invariably doze off, and it was good to be notified when someone came in......anyone know of a fix ?.....Many Thanks....

Been having a think about things, and I seem to recall that a distant relative of ours, who lived at Westborough (the next village to Long Bennington) was given as passing away in the Workhouse Hospital at Claypole......I can't find the said ancestor, and can't recall any dates, but it is entirely possible that is what happened to the original poster's ancestor......

It may, or may not, be significant, but there was a workhouse at Claypole, a village some 13 miles from Long Bennington......
