Good afternoon . I think her name was Lydia Green. sorry you already know this fact but i am following my name back as far as i can go and i am also stuck on Ashley Cock.
At some point in this surname the addition of an s made it Cocks and my name was changed in 1965 to Cox. this seems common as my Gran on my mothers side was Una Balls and her history show it was indeed Ball.
please no jokes about Cock n balls . it just happened that way.
i have a tree on ancestry .co.UK I'm proud to say the the Cock family still thrive is Hillingdon.
