Hi, you are all very kind trying to help me, Eliza was born 1875 and so would have been 35
when she died.  I have searched all i can online and have just found a  birth and death in
Hull date given as 1898 for a child named May but with Eliza's maiden name.
I don't however know if this is the May who allegedly died
I am begining to wonder if my original informer and his informer were playing chinese whispers.
None of this is dropping into place and despite all your help it's still as clear as mud.
I think i should thank you for taking an interest and let it go.
best regards Lynne

I was told it was a house fire, but i can see more background is
needed and i am not certain now where to get the background information.
i know Eliza's husband Joseph and four children were left.

A family member told me of a fire in Hull in 1910 in which my
great Aunt and her daughter died.  There names were Eliza and May Smith,
any help with this would be appreciated.
Thanks Lynne

Hi, whilst looking for a contact number to try to find my grandfathers grave at Leabrooks,
cemetery, the thought occured to me where are my  Swanwick  great grandparents buried as
neither Alfreton or Leabrooks were open before 1890, and i don.t think they are in St Andrews at Swanwick. Any thoughts or ideas anyone?
Cheers Lynne
