HELLO. William J. Jones enlisted in the Army in Dec 1915 his age was 22years 11 months I believe that his father's occupation was a miner.
Marriage certificate is on the way, but I do not have it at present.
I hope this helps

Hello Jane, I have now talked to John's (mojo) brother and he tells me  that Thomas Morris was killed in action  Oct 1918 aged 29and his parents were James Morris and Ann. It seems he was born in Bargoed.
Now we are  armed with this fresh  info, can we see if we can find where James Morris family line originates from.
Hope you can help. Have fun at the fireworks party!

Jan, The other little bit of info I have on him is, that he was killed at Ypres during WW1.

hi Jane not much to go on I am afraid, but I would guess he would have been aged between 20_ 30 years of age .
 I am pretty sure that he was in Bargoed in 1901.
