World War Two / Re: HMS Derwent
« on: Thursday 14 April 11 23:46 BST (UK)  »
Thank You,
my father was ABS on the Derwent and he never spoke of the war or what  operations he was involved in.
I realise it is a long shot as DAD would be 90 now, but I would love to here any stories from other crew from the Derwent.
Thanks
Jan

Annie Mary Morgan,   Father John Morgan
Married William David Williams April 16th 1906, at the  Christchurch in the Parish of Ebbwvale, By Rev WC Williams. Annie previously had been a servant at vicarage.
Annie Mary Williams ( Nee Morgan died 28th of April 1921 ) 20 days after my father Wilfred George Williams was born.
Any ideas on how i can find out any more information, especially regarding the Aunt Dagger who raised Dad, and what happened to William David Williams after his wife died.
Any ideas on how to continue my search for information greatly appreciated.

Monmouthshire Lookup Requests / Williams, Morgan, Dagger
« on: Sunday 13 March 11 07:21 GMT (UK)  »
Need help with my father records.
Anne Mary ( nee Morgan) Williams born Swansea 1885
Married to William David Williams steam crane driver Siemens Furnace.
I believe Ann died in childbirth 1921 when my father was born, I have had no luck in tracing the Aunt Dagger who raised him or what happened to my grandfather (although there is a death recorded in late 1920 which could be him I was hoping there maybe something in the parish records of either Bedwelty or Ebbvale
Hoping someone out there can help
regards
