Northamptonshire Lookup Requests / Re: Emma Marks Balderson look up
« on: Saturday 12 November 11 22:34 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,
Yes John had a brother Job who married Mary Cowley on 9 Sep 1832 in Cold Ashby, she died Sep 1884 and was buried on 28 Sep 1884 in Cold Ashby, they had 3 children, Elizabeth, Joseph and William. I'm afraid I don't know if Mary and Keturah were sisters or who their parents were, my family are the Baldersons.

Hi,
Yes Keturah Cowley married John Balderson on 9 Dec 1823 at Guilsborough, he was the son of Benjamin Balderson and Ann Walden of Cold Ashby. Keturah died in Sep 1876 and was buried at Cold Ashby on 24 Sep 1876.
Hope this helps.
Regards
Sandy

Hi Julie,

Have you sorted your muddle out yet?
To put a cat among the pigeons, * if the adoption story was correct on free bmd there is a birth in 1903 at Neath for a John Richard Helson, is he their adopted son?

Hi Simon,

Are you still looking for Radbourn Balderson on the 1871?  If you look for Esther Cox, Richard St, Leicester, he is a lodger there and he marries her later in 1871 ,he is mistranscribed as Radbrain Baldwin but if you look on the actual census page you will see it is him.  If you didn't already know Radbourn was baptised on 27 March 1853 at Cold Ashby, he is my 2nd cousin twice removed according to my F.T. programme
