on that Bannockburn website in "old photos" is one titled 'residents of Wallace Street. I am pretty sure two of my aunts are in it....wondered whether you recognise any of them

My Mother's family (Wilson) lived in 'Irish Close'. It was a local name for Wallace Street. It was called Irish close because of the large numbers of Catholics that lived there of Irish descent. If you follow the link http://www.bannockburn.co.uk/history/census.pdf. You will find the census with details of all the residents of Wallace Street. Hope this helps
