Thank-you for the information. Our museum does not have an internet connection or email yet. All enquiries have to go through myself and one of our trustees who have private emails. As we are the two that do the actual replying to enquiries, this makes sense.

I will bear your comments in mind and encourage other subscribers to use the private message system to contact us directly in future.

Hello Alex. It is a spectacular picture indeed. I went to East Otago High School between 1975 and 1979. My brother attended the rebuilt Palmerston Primary School between 1975 and 1977.

At the Waihemo Museum we have some records of the old Palmerston schools but they are fairly sporadic.
