But please don't take any chances on the  weather.Samuel Spruce F.G.S .was a well known man in Tamworth  he was a Mining Engineer His funeral was on 17th Feb.1900 .It was reported in the Herald so I am hoping he has a headstone .

Hi BumbleB  and CaroleW,Sorry about delay on offering more info on the Burial place of Samuel Spruce .I have had trouble with my PC.                                                                                           I have since found a report in the TAMWORTH HERALD  of his burial in "the local church" on 17th Feburary 1900
 his address was Beech House .Albert rd.Tamworth.I believe he was a local Councillor, a lot of local dignitaries were present.
It would be interesting to know if he has a headstone in the Local church.

Hi CaroW  I am so sorry you are right he was born 1824-1900 .I have so many Spruces in my family history with the same names I got mixed up.

Hello,i wonder if anyone has any info on Samuel Spruce 1849-1900 burial place in Tamworth .staffs.he was a mining engineer.
