Australia / Re: Shipping Record, Boag

James and Hannah Boag arrived in NSW in 1860 on board the ship "Hannah More".  They were registered under the name Bogg.

Also I believe Robert Boag married Sarah Lowe in 1868 but she died the same year.  He later married Emma Lawrence in New Zealand as C.T. stated above.

Hope this helps.

Would love a copy of the photo of John.  I am happy to pay for it and postage and any other info.  Unfortunately as I've have just started I only have John's death certificate at this stage.  I am happy to email you a copy of my gedcom file of my family line if you are interested.  Thanks  :)

Thanks for the reply.  I am a descendant of John & Emma's daughter Alice who married James Wood.  Like you I haven't found any information on the family before their arrival in Australia.  Emma's grave is in Tarro Cemetery near Beresfield.  Unfortunately, it is very neglected and the headstone had fallen down but I've managed to prop it up. Would love to share info.

Hi, I replied to a post by Newby Dee in regards to a John Williamson.  She asked me to post you directly.

I am looking for information about John Williamson born Portsmouth, England, parents Henry Williamson and Emma Taylor.  Married Emma Scales at Stockton, NSW.  John died 14 Aug 1910 at Holmesville, NSW.  Children of John & Emma at time of John's death: Louisa, Henry, Emma E, Alfred, Alice, John and Eliza (+ 1 deceased).  When John died in 1910 he have been "53 years in NSW" according to death certificate.

Could there be a connect between our Williamsons?
