Lancashire / Whittingham Hospital. Ada Lemon
« on: Monday 09 April 18 11:03 BST (UK)  »
Hello
Please can you do a lookup for Ada Lemon a patient at Whittingham Hospital. Ada Lemon was born 1880 in Salford. I have just found on Ancestry her admittance number 45862 the date she was admitted was 4th April 1907, and she died there 13th July1919 (age 39 years). I would love any information at all about her, as she was my Grandmothers sister.
Mowi.

A BIG BIG thank you  to all who worked on this photograph. This was one of only two photographs
my husband had of his dad, now my two grown up children can see what their Grandfather looked
like, as he died when they were only young.
Once again THANK YOU.
MOWI.

Can anyone offer their help to improve this picture?

The picture was taken around 1956. As you can see, it looks like its been folded up and some point and has lines all over it.

Thanks in advance

Can you please try and restore this small faded photograph of my Mum (born 1906) and her two younger brothers born 1910 & 1913

This photo is now coming up to 100 years old and is very faint.

There are no details on the back of the photo.

It measures 1 3/4 by 3 inches

Thanks

Mowi

Hello all and thank you.
Yes the small photo is my Dad.He was born in 1904 . I thought the date on the slate was 1918 but that would make him 14.I think he and the others look younger, and I wonder if it is 1915 when he would have been 11.

This is the only photograph I have of my dad as a child.

He is the little boy on the back row, 3rd from the right.

It was taken in Salford UK, 1918.

If there is anyone who can improve the colour and remove some of the marks then it would be greatley appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Mowi

That's a great result! Way better than I thought anyone would be able to get it. A few years ago I had a local photo shop have a go at restoring it and all they did was alter the contrast a bit to make it stand out more which didn't make it look much better.

Thanks to Carolyn and Emjaybee for your efforts they are very much appriciated.  ;D
