Thank you so much for this. I'll look into Patrick Ward. This is where I'm new to finding my roots. I sometimes go up a lot of wrong trees! But I'm excited when I finally find the right one. I will post elsewhere on roots chat later today and then email you. But, again, thank you for your kind response.

Hi Susan,

I'm new to roots chat and to genealogy. I noticed that we have an ancestor in common--one that I have had some trouble finding information about. My great-great grandmother was Mary Ward, daughter of Lawrence Ward and Bridget Dougherty. My great grandmother was Mary Crighton of Lynn, Massachusetts. I was wondering if you would be willing to share information about your great grandmother.  I do not know when Mary Ward passed away, do you?

Any information that you would share would be wonderful. I'm so new to this forum that I cannot use the private messaging system yet, so I just thought I post where you had once posted an inquiry.
