Death of Betty Brien of FountainGreat find Heywood Betty wife of James presume her name would be Elizabeth. I am trying to connect these O Briens with a Ellen Brien born June 1817 same area of James O Brien. Ellens parents were John O Brien Mary Dunne. James going by his death record was born c 1806. Its a mammoth task especially with the Surname. Ellen ended up in USA and to make matters more confusing she married here to a William O Brien - some of their children being born in Ireland. I believe they immigrated to USA circa 1853

I was hoping that a witness might be a sibling to Thomas so you could find baptism records.
Tithe applotment books shows a James Brien in Fountain, 1826.Thank you for this information

Griffiths Valuation has a James Brien in Ballymuddy.
HiThank you for your replies. I had found some of the records including Griffiths Valuation, addresses seem to vary at different stages between Fountain & Ballymuddy. I am hoping to connect this O Brien family with an O Brien who went to USA who was born in the area circa 1817 could have been a sister to James O Brien??
Thomas Brien was Informant when James Brien died in 1881. See below:-

If they were Catholic you can check the church register-Thank you have looked at the years in question but unfortunately the registers are mostly not legible.

Canada has a 100 year rule concerning birth and marriage information, death are usually found by newspaper obituaries.Thank you for information. I dont have access to Newspapers would there be an obituary for Kathleen on a local paper where she lived?
