Hello... I see this post was a while ago... were there any more updates and progress made on the lines?. I am from the line of Thomas Reid,b 1882,parents George Reid and Anne Sutherland)who married Christina Flett in 1911 . I missed there being another son, Robert..never came up with his siblings on ancestry...... good news for me, ,I will check familysearch to see if he comes up there......
Any further info on the Sutherlands and Robertsons would be great.. and I am a little stuck on Margaret Thompson. I have reviewed Peter Reid's website...also, with the Reid's. Thomas ,according to family knowledge had a son Peter probably in 1921. the year Christina died, who was raised by an uncle (maternal/Paternal?) in Cheshire. Anyone seen a paper record of Peter?... would be truly thankful....

Thank you in advance for your time and attention!

I have been researching my Portgordon/Buckie lines. My Maternal Grandmother is (now deceased -2006) a Reid. I was given the website address of Peter Reid, Professor, who has actually done a lot of my work for me.... in fact, my mother wrote him several years ago thinking ,perhaps he could be a relative. Not,... his website is  www.portgordon.org   Peter is currently updating it but the family names are there :) with their ancestors/descendants... I mention this site as I did not see mention of it here...of course.. it may be known now. I have a Family Tree an ancestry.com. it is public. under Wardle.
Any info to fill in my holes will be greatly appreciated.. Let me know if I could be of any help,too...TX!
