Kent / John Nokes and Harriet Austin

They were married on June 2 1816 at St Alphege Greenwich. I am trying to find a birth record for either John Nokes or Harriet Austin. John Nokes was a gardener and they lived in Isle of Thanet, they had a son John Kirby Noakes (Nokes) who married Elizabeth smith. Other children were Harrietta, Francis and Eliza (1841 census) The census states that he was born in 1796 and Harriet also in 1796 in Kent. John Kirby Noakes is my husband's gr gr gr grandfather and I am interested in finding out where the Kirby in the name originally came from as it carried through to his father.
