any idea if there are any free resources available where I might view this article???

dying from pneumonia after a fractured leg which seems strange.
Prolonged immobilization [sic] affects almost every organ system. Respiratory complications include decreased ventilation, atelectasis, and pneumonia.
From https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC2379609/

Probably your great uncle was immobilised after breaking his leg.

Thanks for that josey

He was hit by a car on the Glenagery Rd on Dec 21st.
He ran off the footpath with his head down, the driver John G Cooke applied the breaks but could not stop in time.
The car belonged to Albert Horton Belgarve Rd who gave evidence.
The driver was exonerated.

Thank you again sinaan and you seem to have smashed this one as well.
Can I ask where you got the details for my reference.
I am still not sure if this is my relation but it certainly looks right in many ways as he was regularly recorded as a van driver, and a labourer at other times.

Dublin / 1925 inquest of my G Grand Uncle
« on: Tuesday 25 June 19 01:46 BST (UK)  »
I am searching for the death of James Kelly born 1864 in Cabinteely Dublin and came across a record which I think may be him, and there was an inquest into his death after dying from pneumonia after a fractured leg which seems strange.
If anyone can help me find anything to do with this death or inquest I would be very grateful indeed.
The link for the death is: https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1925/05021/4372376.pdf.

I am confident after all the extraordinary help I have received at Rootschat previously that maybe someone can crack this one for me also.
