Sorry I was looking at Hugh Cliffords service record and he was born 12 Nov 1898  Lanark Scotland have looked at map of Scotland and found there is actually a town called Lanark was wondering if anyone could do a look up for me

Barbara English had child Hugh 1898 to John Clifford maybe she remarried before child was born and he was registered under step fathers name if this happened how would you go about finding out?

Is there anyway I will find out anything more about Hugh Clifford? On his marriage certificate he claimed that his father John was a printer and his mother was Barbara English cant find any evidence that these 2 married. On his deathe certificate person giving information said he had never been married or had any children so frustating

Thank you for all that information.I believe Joseph died april 1852 were there any notices in the local papers and does anybody know where he was buried?

Hanora was born in Ireland She married a william Davies who was a mariner who was born in Dublin. They lived in Nova Scotia. Then they came out to Australia William died in the 1860s in Batavia. I was wondering how I would work out which country they were married?

Edith Maud  Wagland b 1881 Sth Melbourne Had 2 boys Thomas Alfred and Robert Leslie. One was born 1902 and I think the other one was born 1902 as well were they twins or have I got the wrong dates. Also on my notes I have written she was unmarried but then later on I have her marrying a George Wilson in 1902?
