Apologies I should have said Margaret was born 23 January 1834  Larbert Stirlingshire her parents were John Watson and Mary Buchan , All I know about Heinrich he was a ship's captain.
Both her sons John and Henry died in infancy.

United States of America / Heinrich and Margaret Watson
« on: Saturday 28 May 22 11:59 BST (UK)  »

I have just discovered that a distant relative of mine Margaret Watson married a Heinrich Eggers a ships captain in Falkirk Stirlingshire Scotland in 1854 . They had two sons John born 1855 and Henry in 1863 both died very young.
Information I received was Margaret and Heinrich went to Canada and eventually settled in America .

Looking for help in finding some more information on them.

Thanks

Hi,

If you go to www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk  and buy 30 credits for£7:00 you will be

able to find and download certificates right away.

It is a pay as you view site 1credit then 5 to download the cert.

A great site and very easy to use and inexpensive for certs.

Technical Help / "Resolving Host "
« on: Wednesday 19 August 15 16:37 BST (UK)  »

Hi,
Looking for some advice on the following.

I have downloaded and have been running Windows 10 for a few weeks now without any trouble using Google Chrome .

These last few days I have been seeing " resolving host" on the bottom of my screen and have done a recovery and unticked boxes as suggested but still it is appearing how can I rectify this.

Very grateful for any help as I'm not technically minded

Hi,
There is a death for a James Watt on Scotlands People in the 1950's in Erskine Renfrewshire.
It is a pay as you view site and is very reasonably priced . £7:00 for 30 credits  which if used carefully can get you a few certs.Sorry I have no credits to do this for you. www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk
As it is before the cut of year you will be able to download and view the certificate immediately.
