 Good morning
My father-in-law served in the above from 1942 - 1946 in the 70 Construction section, 5 Headquarters  Railway telephone company, according to Forces war records. I have done some researching and can not find anything on this unit. If anyone knows anything about this I’d love to hear from you.

Osnabruck we believe. We have his birth certificate, he was born in Herne-Sodingen 30 12 1941 and we have the adopting parents names.

My husband has found out he has a half brother who was adopted, born and adopted in Germany about 70 yrs ago.  Where would we start to look for his adoption.  TIA

In the 1939 register my mother aged 17 was a packer in a tobacco factory, does anyone know the name/location of such a factory.  Her address was Oldershaw Rd.
