Hi Les.
My mother was at school with Audrey and remembers her well.
I will see if she has any pictures. Her father was headmaster at Wormley school.

I guess that as it says Susanna was born in Swineshead, then its likely Elizabeth (Pack) Rennales died in Swineshead as she seems to have died in the post partum period when Susanna was a few days old. No proof though.

Ah, he died later in census year then. Just about made the 1861.

No date of death that I can find, but he was 84 in the 1861 census and doesn't appear after that.

John Reynolds (1777) was living with his son James (born 1820) on the 1851 census.

Hi,
Yes I did consider the third marriage for John. Both of these women died in 1815, but Elizabeth Pack seem to have died in Swineshead and I have no evidence the family ever lived there, but that doesn't mean to say that she didn't of course. They are very close. Do you have that as a place of death for Elizabeth Pack?
Its surprising how little evidence we have to firm up an answer for this one.

Its a puzzle.

Its a very long time since I looked at this, but I think at the time I was going by the Carlton parish records marriage of John Reynolds, labourer, to Elizabeth Tandey on Nov 16 1804 as being the most likely candidate. Interesting that others have come to the same conclusion, but I think I need to re visit it.

I will have a look and see if I was going by any other evidence.

Hi JAKnighton,
I descend from John Reynolds first marriage to Elizabeth Tandy.
