Lanarkshire / Re: O'HARA/TAYLOR/SMITH/MCTAGGART family - Glasgow

Hi Wilma,
Nice to hear from you. I had to give up on it as couldn’t find any further information if I recall correctly. If I recall correctly I managed to get back to 1795 with a tenuous link to Galway.

Library and FHS Lookups / Re: William Sharkey, lookup in bolton
« on: Sunday 26 July 15 19:50 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
I am trying to find out where my grandfather was living in Bolton between October 1963 until December 1964. I know he was dispensed medication from Bernard Coffman,(T.Apsden,  M.P.S)  Dispensing Chemist in 48 Higher Bridge Street in Bolton (no date of prescription).
Many Thanks

Buteshire / Re: Gravestone look-up? Rothesay / BUCHANAN
« on: Tuesday 14 April 15 21:35 BST (UK)  »
Hi,
ChapelHill is not a gravestone, it is the name of a street in the main town of Rothesay on the Isle of Bute, a street which, I used to walk up it everyday to go to school. There are several cemetries on the island, namely High Kirk, Barone, and Croc-anRaer and Kingarth .
