Hi Sandra,
Yes it is.
I thought it would be better to start a new thread rather than continue with the old one.

Canada / Look Up Request
« on: Thursday 11 January 18 15:26 GMT (UK)  »
Hi,

I was wondering if anyone was going to the Downtown Reference Library who would be willing to do a
look up for me?

The family concerned are almost certainly still living so I cannot mention them here but I am willing to send a pm with their details.

Thanks
Michelle

To be honest I haven't, mainly because I'm not sure where to start.

I would love to know what happened to my relatives after they emigrated from England.
However I am not sure if they would want any contact with those who they left behind.
As they are still living I cannot post anything on here.
But as I am an amateur genealogist I have a need to know.

The people I am looking for are still alive.
I do have names and years of birth.

Thank you. I just hope I fine the right family.

Is it possible to research marriages from 1970's and 1980's?

 Yes I Have.

They sailed on 29th April 1955 from Liverpool to Quebec on board the Franconia.

I know that they settled in Toronto.

Hi,

Could you tell me how easy/difficult it is to try and trace someone who emigrated to Canada in the

1950's.
