Denbighshire Lookup Requests / Re: 1871 Census
« on: Wednesday 19 April 23 21:01 BST (UK)  »
Greetings

Just to say a heartfelt thanks for this information which contains a lot of snippets of information which I wasn't aware of. I have a lot of info on the Hannans in Wrexham and on Frederick Phillips but there are some little gems in there as well.

I'm going to search for a photo of the Hannans, which might be difficult as Philip died in 1871, but just possible.

Hi Kevin

I realise now that I have you on my DNA matches on Gedmatch already. I just hadn't put 2+2 and made 5 out of it. You should have me on your matches as Johnyo25 on Gedmatch and denscanis13 on Ancestry.

Best

John

Hi Scotty151

Do you have a kit number for your DNA upload to Gedmatch? It would useful to do the comparison and see if we can connect. What is your Ancestry username? I can't see a connection on Ancestry.

Suffolk / Re: Birth of Richard DEATH

Good morning Francoso

Many thanks for the information. I will check and hopefully verify when I visit BStE Record office as soon as it opens and transcribe a number of parishes which will now include BStE St James as it seems we have to have as much info from there as possible. Whereabouts in the wide world are you?

Best wishes

Suffolk / DEATHs in general
« on: Monday 31 August 20 22:27 BST (UK)  »
Hi Francoso
I have a memory from previous conversations that you commented about not being able to find Rebecca Nicoll wife of George Death, but I can't locate the conversation! If you're any further forward with that I would like an update if possible. I have her as the possible mother of Richard Death born 1654 who married Sarah Simpson but I can't prove it (yet!)
Hope you and yours are all ok.
Best wishes

Suffolk Lookup Requests / Re: George DEATH of MILDEN
« on: Thursday 04 June 20 20:03 BST (UK)  »
Hi Francoso

Thanks for getting back to me. I'll certainly add those to the list! I reckon I've got 2 whole days worth there already. I've been looking at Death trees on Ancestry in detail this last few days - what a load of rubbish a lot of them are. I have been correcting one line of descent from Richard Death b 1654 and Sarah Simpson. I got a copy of his will (1728) which proved that his daughter Ann married William Kidby not Benjamin Willis as everybody who copied everyone else has on their tree, so I sent over 150 emails to all those who have the wrong info asking them to correct it. I've heard from a few positively, but I'm not holding my breath on the others! I have 2 Death lines, both 6x great grandmothers.

I'm only 160 miles from BStE so a lot closer than you.

Have you done your DNA?

Keep in touch.
