It is the 1950s and 1960s and it is the service records for individuals who were members of the WD Police.

That's him. I know he was living in Devizes in the 1939 Register but I am trying to find out if he had moved to Somerset in 1940.

Not him I'm afraid, his wife died in 1928 whilst he was living at Aldershot Garrison.
