Not something I've looked at much before .
So a few questions are coming up
& I'm finding it hard to find court transcripts & articles about the case .
First question is about Aliases : is there any convention about which name is given first
I think it's the one arrested under and previous names go back in time so the last one listed most likely to be the original name .

You also have to have same spelling + dates for the common ancestors to show
If someone has added lots of punctuation or nicknames ..they will look like different people
Suggest using the also known as option & common ancestors tag rather than writing 2nd great grandfather or whatever as a suffix

yes my sis has low level lights which come on when you walk past them ...useful at night ..dont know the other kind
i went to monthly book club this morning ,the theme was history and there was a good variety of books ,
i took the book my mum wrote in 2005 about the people + houses of her village + read an extract about evacuees .
also told some of the story using basic sign language to practice for talk in may for local brownie group
excuse lack of capitals im tying one handed .
happy st georges day for tomorrow
dont think i can attach textile festival photo unless i crop it

yes thanks softly softly i found alice frances' daughter frances mansfield who married George fullager then fred dillon ,reply 15
that is the correct Frances Mansfield brought up by her grandmother ...! id followed the wrong parents
George Daniel Mansfield + alice Barrow are the correct ones
i also found record where alice aka frances got 2 convictions of 6 months concurrently on 26th aug 1889
+ george was acquitted but ii didnt find the record of the people they.d stolen from #
in 24/9/ 1894 there is a good description of frances davies alias mansfield and BARROW alice b1866 shes described as married no job. fair complexion .brown hair , hazel eyes oval face + various scars

useful to compare with other records
because he was acquitted george is not on that uk register of habitual criminals
but there are later court appearances which might be him
another interesting twist in the BARROW girls name changing ...sister Amelia known as Minnie was calling herself Alice Isaacs on widows pension

I went to family history office today to try and find newspaper articles about this couple
But didn't
This George Mansfield/Connor is listed under line with Frances Mansfield but their crimes are in different towns 1889
Where did you find the record ?
Is it on family search ?

Actually the only connection to Ireland seems to be the babies birth
The couple returned to west derby Liverpool Lancashire to have the baby baptised & to get married
