This link is to the research project Founders and Survivors which attempted to find what happened to convicts after sentence. Researchers were experienced genealogists.
As you can see at the end of Charles Henry COOPE details born 1808, exit after sentence unknown.
Not certain Henry COOP d 1884 is the same man.

Thanks but this is just Henry - not Charles Henry and my man definitely wasn't a farmer - so I don't think this is the right person.  Thanks for suggestion though.

Australia / Charles Henry Coop/Coope - convict Tasmania
« on: Thursday 07 April 22 15:18 BST (UK)  »
Hi - trying to find out what happened to Charles Henry Coop/Coope - he was deported in 1850 for 7 yrs for larceny arriving in Aug 1850 on the "Maria Somes".  He obviously hadn't learnt his lesson as he is in and out of prison several times between 1863 and 1872!
After that I can find no records.
Any assistance appreciated!
Thanks

Cheshire / Albert Henry HILL - prison records
« on: Thursday 07 April 22 14:50 BST (UK)  »
Looking for any info on Albert Henry HILL - family history says he was supposedly sent to prison between 1933 -1938.  Lived in the Wirral and worked at British Oxygen.  When he came out of prison he went back to his old job.

Have looked for newspaper articles on FindMyPast - unsure what to think the crime was for him to be allowed back to work?!
Are there any links to local Cheshire newspapers ?

born: 18/4/02 in Eastham Cheshire

I'm looking for a Honor Gladys Helen Boult (nee Barlow) who was admitted in 1919 and dies in 1947.
TIA.

Thank you all for your help!

Charles William, b1859 son of George and Selina who marries Mary unhelpfully starts calling himself Charles George in the 1911 census and on the Will records which I think led to the initial confusion.

Death for Charles G Jun 1919 Maidstone age 58

Charles George died 26 May 1917 • 46 Chillington St, Maidstone, Kent, England.  He was living at that same address in 1911.

To clarify  Charles 1 is Charles William.  Charles 2 is Charles George.
Both their fathers are simply George.

I have the marriage cert of Charles George. Married 31 Oct 1880 • St Phillips, Maidstone Kent
Father is George a labourer.  No clue in the witness names which are George Hounslow and Ann Eliza Burrells

I don't believe it is the same person recorded at 2 different addresses in 1881 as all subsequent census have them in their separate houses with their wives and families.

Kent / Charles Brunger b1859 in Maidstone

I have identified 2 Charles Brungers.

Charles 1 is the son of George Brunger and Selina Bennett. He is clearly traceable from his birth 8/06/1859 through his baptisms, and the census to his marriage in 1894 to Agnes Fanny Thompson.  I lose him after 1920 and cannot find a death for him yet.
He sometimes is recorded as Charles William.

Charles 2 has no records until his marriage in 1880 to Mary Waters Andrews.  He is then traceable via the census to his death in 1917.  On his marriage cert he puts his father as George.
He is sometimes recorded as Charles George.

Some people seem to record this as one and the same person; but 1881 has Charles 1 living with his parents at  156, Up Stone Street, Maidstone, Kent; and 1881 has Charles 2 living with his wife down the road at 82 Upper Stone Street, Maidstone, Kent.

1881 confusingly has Charles 1 as married in that census but his marriage cert says he is a bachelor.

My question is.... where is Charles 2 in 61 and 71.  There are no birth records for another Charles born in Maidstone in 1859 +/- 2 years.  I have also searched under Bronger.
Who is he!?
Thanks for any help!
