Was this his son Alfred Styan Dendy married Susan Mary Scriven in Adelaide 12 May 1898 and died 5th July in Cheltenham Oxfordshire ...Reverend Alfred Styan Dendy

Could be, I do not have a middle name for Alfred and haven't really researched that part yet, did he die the year he got married?

What other information do you have then and what else are you looking for  :)

Not much before Rev Arthur Dendy really, would be interested in hearing from any desendants.. Rev Arthur's son "Arthur" was a bit of a rat bag and changed the family name when he fled to New Zealand about 1900, we all have wonder why and began doing research some years ago, just the past week I have really got into it and discovered a lot... We all wondered why we had "Dendy" as a Christian name... dad would never talk about it.

looking for relatives of the above, B; 1824 D; 1891 South Australia, he had been bishops vicar at st peters for a number of years after arriving in Australia in 1870. he was married to Caroline Elizabeth Fisher. I believe Arthurs father was Charles Cook Dendy. Arthur  had 3 sons Frank Tringshan, Arthur Robert, and Alfred.
