Family History Beginners Board / Re: Harriett Spencer born Great Wigston about 1791

Hello, new member to the site. Just found your posts whilst Googling. John Fenton Richardson, is my Gt Grandfather.
Looking at work done on the family tree from several sources this might help!
Thomas Richardson born 1788 - of Billericay, Essex married Maria Spencer, born 1795 ( about!) of Oadby. Not known where they married but lived in Essex and eventually die in Essex.
Their son, also Thomas, born 1826 in Hackney, married Harriet French daughter of John French and Lucy Ann Spencer 1856 St Peter/Paul Oadby.
To me this suggests they might be cousins? I am new to this and trying to work out the printed charts I have been left!
Their eldest son was John Fenton Richardson born 1856 - my Gt Grandfather, in Essex.He married Ada Lizzie Tomlinson of Newark. The names Fenton and Spencer are used as second names for their eldest sons. Lucy and Ann occur as well.
I hope this is of some help? By strange coincidence I was in Oadby last week and photographed the French and Spencer graves. I live in Surrey.
