hi there george, i would be very interested in finding out what info you have, i am related to the berwicks through the andersons who also came from fife who in turn are connected to the stormonts and duffs from fife and dundee.

i know james berwick died in 1870, christina scott died in 1907, james's dad was rober berwick a miller, his mum was janet webster born 1804, died 1880. janet websters dad was william webster and her mum was janet hutchison, thats all i have down that line.

i am an anderson, down that line i have as follows:james berwicks mother janet berwick was married to james anderson born cameron 1859, died kilconquar, his father was alexander anderson born 1822, died 1846, married to euphemia nicholson born 1819, died 1912. i also have down the anderson and nicholson line about an extra 2-3 generations.

i am trying to trace some of my ancestors from dundee, i know there was a william duff who married mary-ann stormont and his father william duff who married mary wilson in 1850 but that is all i have, can anyone help?

thanks anne for having a look for me, i know that one of my descendants janet berwick died in the district of kilconquhar in 1880 and she was already a widow, her husband was robert berwick and may have been from Largoward.
