Burial of son in 1942. Teresa recorded as Louisa here (possibly her name was misheard, or mistranscribed?)

More great stuff there, Cas.
Mary Elizabeth died not long after the 1939 Register was taken, and was buried at Garden House Cemetery in Whickham. Laid to rest alongside husband John. Images are on FamilySearch.

Hopefully bluetntmo will come back to tell us what they make of it all.

Hi
I haven't been able to find out much more.
Alfred and Mary seem to have had another son, George, registered as Cullmer, March qtr 1862, Shoreditch.
Death registered in the Dec qtr of the same year, age 0, also in Shoreditch.

George was buried at Victoria Park Cemetery, 13 Dec 1862. Age 12 months.
Curiously the address given is Long Alley, Bishopsgate.

Well I won the booby prize there. Well done, mckha.
Good to know she was still around in 1943. Teresa seems to be something of a mystery woman!

Teresa Hibbert (28) mentioned in the Grimsby Daily Telegraph, 16 Oct 1943.
Had she won a prize or something?

Margaret died suddenly in 1895 after a fit of coughing

Don't forget that you can get an instant digital image of the 1854 birth from the GRO for just £2.50.

Census and Resource Discussion / Re: 1921 Census - Missing Households in Oldham

For Edith, don't forget that Spring/Autumn 1921 electoral registers for Oldham are online (England & Wales, Electoral Registers 1910-1932)

Medlock Street 1921 address search, 10 results
House numbers 2, 8, 10, 12, 14, 18, 20, 22, 9, 13
Schedules 112 - 122
Minus schedule 117, which I guess would equate to house number 16.

Eliza dies in 1894 at 5 Riley Street, Chelsea but she's not there in 1891.

Who was the informant?
Davisons were at 5 Riley Street in 1895.
