This morning I have sent for John Turner and Emma Burdett's wedding certificate. Hopefully this will give me more information.

Thanks for your help so far, I will let you know how I go.

Merry Christmas to you all.

Boy this is so confusing and a pain in the ?????, I have found a John Turner baptised 11 Jan 1821 to parents John and Emma, but cannot find anything for birth supposedly 1815. The 1821 makes a bit more sense as he was married in 1840 (I think).

I have sent away for William's birth certificate so I think I will have to wait and see what it comes back with and put searching on hold so I don't go completely mad.

Yes I know the Ancestry tree but cannot find any documentation other than Census records, I would like to verify his birth, marriage or death.

John and Emma - the only info I have is St Peters Anglian Church
