So Talking to my mum tonight got this information
Father is James Tyson
Mother is Lillian Mary Tyson
Brother Ronald Tyson (Born 1928)

James originally form near oversands Cumbria she thinks and Lillian maiden name was Wilson

im not sure if they moved i know my nan was a conductor on the buses for a while I wonder if they did move to near bradford or Ilkley area my mum was brought up in cookridge leeds then bramley as my grandad worked as a carpet fitter for a while then became a Furness man at kirkstall forge in Leeds

hmm i could be mistaken then dont know why I remember Austin as a name ill have to dig around for the birth certificate 1931 would be right for Gordon as my nan is 1933 but she was registered in Ireland Co.Offaly so could be Ronald and Richard then

Yes he passed away in 1997 wife's name Mary son Ian and Daughter Lorna

Hi
I'm just wanting to start to search for my Grandads Family The Tysons From Barrow/Ulverston his name was Gordon Tyson and He had a few Brothers but not much known about them as they didn't agree with him marrying my Grandmother in the 50's who was and Irish Catholic and they were all Church of England!! :-\ so details are pretty sketchy I know one of his brothers moved to Ilkey where he owned property earnest I think but not too sure
