looking for help on finding the father of mary caroline french

she is in workhouse totnes devon in 1881 aged 6 months
her mother was grace french. and we think the father could have been - surname bowman.
is there any way of finding this out please.

hello. wonder if anyone can please give me the parents name of Ann Duckworth. born abt 1831 in Leeds. she later went on to marry William Baines.

thanks for the replies both. she married edward ellis in ruabon in 1832. in the 1871 she is in moreton above aged 70 and here she gives her birthplace as ruabon.but on earlier census records its chirk.
no gadget have never heard of fechan is it a township ?. looking in google i can only find it mentioed near conwy. i think the 1801 looks right the age in the census records are consistent, so your 1801 looks correct. its another very good find ,thanks. brian.
