thanks aghadowey,

so, assuming they are following a traditional pattern,   Michael, john, and bridget's parents would be
john and mary mccarroll.  the name john followed the descendants of Michael and john  further down their
line for the next three generations, always being the first born male child.

 thank you for your reply.

hello everyone,

I have some additional info on the people I am searching for.
bridget mccarroll did not marry,   her brothers Michael and john,   established  large families in new Brunswick Canada.  Michael married ellen scullin in st. Andrews parish , new Brunswick,   john married ann henesy in 1856 in st. Andrews parish, new Brunswick.  both Michael and john named their first male child john,  so I am assuming that their father's name was john mccarroll.  the first three males of both brothers were john, francis and Michael, though francis and Michael were flipped , the first female births were named Margaret and mary  for both families.

am I correct In assuming that the father's name would be john ?

tombstone for bridget mccarroll in st. patricks catholic cemetery in rollingdam, new Brunswick, Canada, bears the Inscription  a native of omagh, Ireland.  Michael is buried in same plot, with his
inscription the same on the rear of the stone.

Michael , john and bridget births are approximate,  1816,1820,1821

if the brothers are following traditional naming patterns,  would mothers name be Margaret ?

looking for any help , I can get.     individuals are roman catholics.

hi,  thank you for your response,   if the online registers start too late,  is there  any way to contact
a roman catholic parish church that existed at the time in question 1816-1822 ?   I have looked at the
tithe applotment registers online for clogher diocese, and there appear to be many MCCarrolls , how do I get to the appropriate catholic parish , am I correct in assuming that the clogher diocese or parish Is a part of omagh ?

thanks again ,

hi ,
I am searching for the baptismal records of Michael McCarroll born abt 1816, John McCarroll born abt 1820 , and Bridget Mccarroll born about 1821 all in Omagh, county tyrone. I found the the three individuals on an 1851 territorial census for new Brunswick Canada, in st. patricks parish, the immigration landing was given as 1842 for Michael, 1845 for John and Bridget.  Death registers of st.andrews parish in new Brunswick for Michael and bridget give birthplace as omagh, ireland.

any information regarding their birth or birth parish and their parents would be extremely appreciated.
The McCarrolls established large families in new Brunswick and eventually wound up migrating to parts of the U.S.

thank you for your consideration.
