Hi I know this is a lot to ask but im looking for info on the burials of my downs ancestors who were buried in london my great grandfather john downs he was born in 1831 in bury st edmunds he was a bootmaker married to ellen downs he died in 1884 in london she died in 1898 i have no idea where they were buried in london neither were in the brompton cemertery

I found out about this case a while ago in an ancestry page I am Bev Downs Ellen Downs was my great great grandmother was she actually telling the truth was she related to henry Im the descendant of John Downs the brother of Agnes Theodosia Downs

I know I posted before about my ancestors grave, his name is Isaac woodhouse he was born 1747 died 1829, buried on the 18th I would like someone  to find it in all saints graveyard  Hannington Hampshire and take a photo of it please I know its a lot to ask

The 2nd Battalion of 45th Foot served in Montevideo in 1846. Per John Ellis' army record he was there for 10 months. and in the Cape of Good Hope for 6 months (also nearly 12 years in the East Indies and nearly 2 years in Gibraltar).

I can't see a record of the children's births.

Thank you ;) my great great uncle might have been born on the resistance or on shore in montevideo itself the book was indeed clear do you know where else i can find the birth records of samuel ellis?
