Hi, I know it’s been a while, but I’ve just found Patrick belongs in our tree.  I only had James as a sibling - you mentioned your 3 x GGm who is that?  Have you found out anymore on this family?
Thanks

Hi Heather
Really great to hear from you. I've researched the Sheens quite extensively since my very first post, together with the Mormon connection. Yes, I've been to see the Chapel, but when I was there years ago it hadn't been restored. Wilfred & Eliza married at Redmarley on 31 Aug 1862. Wilfred died in 1922.  May I ask who you are descended from?  I've been in contact and had a lovely letter from one of Julia's grandsons, Wilfred Powell (aka Jim) he shares lots of memories.
Please let me know if I can be of any help, is there anything you haven't been able to find, maybe I have it, anyway, I look forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes Lesley

Hi Jacqui
Your George Devereux is my 2 x Gt Uncle, I'm descended from his elder sister Harriett.  I have Edith in my tree but no further info on her. Would appreciate if you would share what you have and likewise as I have lots of stuff on the Devereux's.
Regards
Lesley

Thank you both for taking the time to reply.  I think Thomas snr is going to be my brickwall at the moment as I can find no record of his birth at Avenbury.
I'll keep plodding on, thanks again

I have discovered I have BAYNHAM's in my tree from Bredenbury, Grendon Bishop, Avenbury areas.  I have managed to go back to Thomas BAYNHAM married Mary STEDMAN in 1762 Bredenbury but know nothing more about Thomas.  I see there are a couple of people interested in this name - any help would be much appreciated.
Thanks
Lesley

Dawn
Sorry forgot to say my interest stems from William (b 1797)  & Mary Ann Hutson from East Peckham (their son was Charles of the Margret) Williams parents were William & Fanny.  The children of William & Fanny I only have the aforementioned William (1797) & his sister Ann (1796) there could well be others such as your John who married Sarah as Nettlested's just up the road from East Peckham - will keep looking
