HI, i am researching James Chilvers. James was the seventh child of nine born to James Chlivers & Elizabeth Chilvers (nee Jarred) Christened on the 11th November 1783 in the small village of Kelsale.
His father James Chilvers was born 1740 in Westall Suffolk England and married Elizabeth Jarred or Garrod in 11/11/1763. I know that James was convicted of a crime and transported to new south wales. What I am seeking is information prior to his transportation in 1814. Maybe the family may also be researching an would like to know about his life in Australia. He is my 3 x great grandfather.
My name is Beverley Robinson.

Hi Jack I just come across your site. I am seeking information about my 3 x great grand parents.
The family saga begins with the arrival of my great great grandfather James Patrick Hart who was born in Nenagh, Tipperary, Ireland in 1820. His parents were John and Ellen Mary Hart. He was one of four children, siblings were John, Frank and Mary Ellen
We know nothing of his earlier life but at aged 24 years in 1844 he committed the crime that sent him to Van Diemens Land.
I am curious as to his life before he committed his crime. Are there any descendants who would be interested in knowing what happened to Patrick after leaving Ireland. What was his father's occupation. Any information would be welcomed,

Regards Bev Robinson

HI  has anyone had any luck with finding info on James Patrick Hart. I have had contact with one of Mary Anne's grandson but he has no info on when and where James Patrick died. If I could break through this brick wall I would be elated.
