I have compared other buildings in the old photograph with google streetview and am satisfied the new post office was rebuilt on the site of the old one.

Hello, I'm trying to locate the position of the Old Post Office in Aldburgh. I know it is now in the same building as the Co-op and that building was rebuilt after bomb damage in WWII. Does anyone know if it was rebuilt on the site of of the old post office, or was it moved? I have found a photograph of the Old Post Office from 1895, and it looks to me as though it could possibly be the building near the Regatta restaurant. Does anyone know? Hello, Trying to understand the following taken from a service card if a Navy Reserve. I have the following:
28.8.41 From Regr M'chester w??? ?te letter? from "B" for the re-instatement in R.N.R
3.9.41 To Reg M'chester wi?? ?te letter? stating no entry or re-entry into R.N.R during present hostilities. I'm struggling to read/understand the bold sections and would be very grateful for any help.

Thank you so much bookbox. There is a later entry where administration is granted to Thomas' son John so that makes perfect sense.
