England / Re: Nephew on a Census

Thankyou..You People are so Kind.
The Trouble also arose as I canīt find either Joseph on the 1871 census.
The older Born 1816 transfered from the Police force to sheriffs officer.
They all could have died of course, except Frederick who moved to Birmingham.
Best Wishes

England / Nephew on a Census
« on: Sunday 26 August 18 10:43 BST (UK)  »
I have on a census from 1861 in London; Frederick Thompson and his brother Joseph.
Listed to Joseph Thompson ( Baker ) & wife Elizabeth as "Nephews"
Their real father also Joseph Thompson (Sheriffs Officer ) is living with their sister and his
second wife also in London.
There canīt be 2 Joseph Thompsonīs as Brothers ? Or is Elizabeth a sister to Joseph
and married another Joseph with the same surname.
All came from Lincolnshire ?
Any suggestions ?
Best Wishes

This is a document to prove that you lived in a Township.
Not as a visitor!!,and was often required by tradesmen
as a certificate of local present.
